There are 3 lash cycles: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen

There is no secret that your lashes will shed because naturally that’s just what they do. However, understand that if you experience irregular shedding, this can be due to your lashes not being properly isolated or placed on your natural lashes correctly. Then there is your lash cycle that consist of 3 three phases:

During the Anagen phase, which is known as the growth phase, hair follicles are actively producing new hair. This phase can last anywhere from two to seven years, and the length of the hair is determined during this time.

The Catagen phase, also called the transitional phase, is a short period lasting about ten days. During this phase, the hair follicle shrinks and detaches from the dermal papilla, cutting off the hair's blood supply.

Lastly, the Telogen phase is the resting phase where the hair follicle is inactive. It can last around three months before the hair is shed and a new hair begins to grow in its place. This cycle repeats itself continually throughout a person's life, with each hair strand being at a different stage of the cycle.

As long as your lashes are growing, they are healthy and healing.
